The Terminal Decay Concordance

Terminal Decay by unslinky is a fan fiction novel that takes place shortly after the episode "The Planet of the Dead"in the series Doctor Who. The story is Alternate Universe to everything Doctor Who and Torchwood after that. Unslinky started posting this amazing story in May 2010 and here it is March 2011 and the story is far from being completed. The story is on the website A Teaspoon and an Open Mind.

I am such a big fan of this novel and it's amazing complexities, I decided to write a
concordance for Terminal Decay.
The labels in this blog can be used to track of who's who and what's what in the novel. For instance if you scroll down to "seizures" you'll find that it has (3). When you click on that label you'll come up with the Chapters that has someone having a seizure: Chapter 410, 509, 555.
The summaries are just to jog your memory and sometimes I'll write something pertaining to that Chapter that is a bit of TD trivia. The Blog Entries themselves are listed below the rather long (and bound to be even longer) Labels section. Summary inconsistencies should be directed to me and I'll make corrections.
Writing this is a long process so I'm far from being caught up but I'm trying! One final thing: I am American so my phrasing and spelling may look a little "off" to you in the UK

Terminal Decay Chapter 501

Chapter 501 link

As the Doctor laid there asleep but yet not asleep he thought of 702 things at the same time: lying in Jack’s arms, the fate of Rose: that she wasn’t going to die and she wasn’t going to be reanimated either but was suspended in some sort of Artron energy stasis until the Artron energy decayed and that could take a very very long time. The solution was how to safely extract the energy that was in Rose and let her die naturally or find out a way that the Artron energy could be used to help her. That Rose had been foolhardy and risked planets and perhaps two universes when she started to use the dimension cannon and although he was happy to see her at first, it wasn’t for him that she had crossed universes, it was for herself. The Doctor thought about how dangerous it was that Rose had taken the heart of TARDIS into her and that having that kind of power was also dangerous. He thought about Jack and how Jack was immortal and how did the Artron energy affect Jack’s physiology? How did Jack process the energy when it was impossible for a human to? And they needed to sort this out before they traveled to the other universe, because the energy would lose its potency over there and may be even less they could do for Rose (using the energy she contained.) He thought about leaving the isolation room and helping in the science lab to see if he could sort things out but first he had to wake up although technically he wasn’t really asleep. He wanted to help and not be a burden on Tom and Sue because they had enough on their plates, didn’t they? He also needed to do a bone density scan on his ankle because that certainly wasn’t right, and waking Jack wouldn’t be fair to Jack if he roused him by moving. But Jack was caressing his head now and telling him to go back to sleep and it was so tempting to just drift back to sleep...
